what i’m thankful for: connecticut edition
oh jesus, I can’t be any more thankful for this girl, the girl behind the camera and the wonderful state of Connecticut. The scenery of crusty Connecticut is amazing; its so picturesque and wonderful and lame, but I love it. In the world of North Carolina’s pinetrees, mailmen who ride in ugly toyotas and sidewalkless streets, its always a breath of fresh air (no really, no humidity either!) to go to this place and change up the pace a little bit. I have no idea why I love Connecticut so much, really. I wish I still had the opportunity to grow up there. But I’m thankful for it for being there and being New England-y and being so pretty for the last 2 summers.
As for Emily, fjsjfjfj how could I not be thankful for her? A shoulder to cry on, someone to relate with on so many different things, being the best, no matter what? And always having an open home to me with delicious foods and the best 2nd family for the past two years. jvjdgjg my thanks for my…er…3rd cousin is a large one more than tumblr can explain. yayayah. p.s. follow her here (http://oneofmykind.tumblr.com/). she is a cool kid.
And Marissa too! Such an amazing photographer, hilarious, and a great person to be around. So sweet too to strangers like me who come into their lives for a week and leave (haha)! I’m thankful for these pictures she took and for being so nice to me when I come and visit. So glad to have known her!
